Clip of Jihadi John-style killer and boy of about five both with British accents dismissed as 'desperate'.

At the end of the ten-minute film a boy aged about five appeared in military gear and an IS bandana. Military experts said the video was an “act of desperation” by ISIS after it lost control of its Iraq stronghold of Ramadi. The city was taken by Iraq soldiers backed by UK and US air strikes.
Former Admiralty chief Lord West said: “Terror is part of their policy because they think it shakes and rattles the West. But it’s a sign of desperation, not strength. We need to steadily keep applying pressure. He also spoke English with an evident British accent, saying: “We will kill the kuffar (non-believers) over there.”
“We must do better at our own propaganda to make them look silly, not terrifying.” Iraq war hero Colonel Tim Collins said: “They know they are being defeated militarily and face annihilation.
“Nobody is pretending RAF jets are going to do it all, but they are making room for the Iraqis to get the job done. “This isn’t going to happen overnight but it’s going to happen.”
A Foreign Office source dismissed the clip as “propaganda”. They added: “It was probably released to divert attention from IS’s recent military failures and inability to look after citizens in areas it controls.” In the video, the pistol-waving new Jihadi John taunted Mr Cameron as a “slave of the White House”.
He said: “How strange that we find ourselves hearing an insignificant leader like you challenge the might of Islamic State.
“How strange that the leader of a small island threatens us with a handful of planes. It seems, like your predecessors Blair and Brown, you are arrogant and foolish. “In fact you are more of an imbecile. Only an imbecile would dare to wage war against a land where the law of Allah reigns supreme.”
In a direct threat to Britain, the fanatic claimed ISIS would “continue to wage jihad and one day invade your land, where we will rule”. A voice analyst told The Sun the fanatic probably grew up in Essex or London but was now trying to sound like an Arab jihadi. The expert said: “The way he pronounces sounds such as ‘ar’ and ‘el’ suggests he probably spoke with an urban South East accent in the UK.
“But he takes great care to pronounce Arabic words in what he views as an authentic Arabic accent. “He’s trying hard to mimic Jihadi John. He wants to come across as almost a professional jihadi.”
The video showed the prisoners, all wearing orange jumpsuits, confessing on camera to being British agents. They all spoke in Arabic. None appeared to be British. Two claimed to have been given cameras to film life under IS in Syria and three “confessed” to setting up an internet cafe to spy on jihadis.
Government sources dismissed the claims. The original Jihadi John was Kuwaiti-born Brit citizen Mohammed Emwazi, seen in several ISIS videos beheading hostages. He was killed by a US drone near Raqqa in November. In his videos, Emwazi delivered threatening speeches at the West.
He spoke to camera in English while waving a gun or knife. The lookalike in yesterday’s films appeared to have copied his style. At least 17 UK-born children are thought to have been taken by their families to join IS in Syria.
Like the boy in the new film, they are used in online propaganda, often armed and in combat gear. A security source said: “We aren’t aware who this new militant is. We’re looking into the video to see if we can identify those involved.”
MPs called for a rapid hunt for the new Jihadi John. Tory Alan Mak said: “It’s vital we identify the masked terrorist. Once we have he should meet the same fate as Jihadi John.” Ex-Labour minister John Spellar said: “I hope, as with Jihadi John, that very quickly he will be identified and hunted down.”
The RAF killed 396 IS jihadis in the 12 months to October 2015. Thirty died in one November attack.
