KATIE Price will finally reunite with her terminally ill mum today after ten weeks apart in lockdown.
The star's mother Amy was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in 2017 and has had to take extra precautions to protect herself.
Viewers of Katie's TV show, My Crazy Life, were moved to tears as they watched as the former model was forced to wave to mum Amy through a closed window after coming out of rehab.
They were both seen planting their lips and hands together on either side of the glass.
But there will be smiles all round today as after 10 weeks apart they can finally seen one another.
A source told The Sun Online: "Amy is still shielding and being very very careful. Katie will go around for an isolation cup to tea in the garden today, but obviously she can't hug her or go near her.
"It's very sad but just seeing her mum in person will be the best belated birthday present for Katie.
"It's been so tough for them both but they have to be so careful because of her health."
Amy's illness causes scarring to the lungs which reduces the sufferer's ability to breathe and there is currently no cure.
The family reunion comes as Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the easing of some lockdown restrictions from June 1.
Family and friends can now meet up in gardens and parks in small groups of no more than six people.
