Liverpool's version was no tamer than the rest, with one
shocking photo showing paramedics taking an intoxicated woman away in a
wheelchair. Other photos show women scantily clad in daring outfits, despite temperatures hitting 0C at night in the chilly northern city.

The night's drinking seems to have taken its toll on some of the partiers - who are seen slumped on the street outside clubs. In one photo a dishevelled-looking woman pushes her glasses into place as she rummages through her open bag near a drain pipe.
Another picture shows a group of friends trying to hold a friend up as they throw up near some steps outside a nightclub. Drinkers enjoted cheap booze and fancy dress as they let off steam ahead of this year's final exams.
Students
embraced the Beauty and the Geek theme as they donned specs, drawn on
freckles and tartan skirts for the hectic night out.
