Witnesses described the boy being dragged out into the main square in front of a huge, bloodthirsty crowd before being beheaded as a “warning to others”.

ISIS fanatics regularly stage gruesome public executions - many of which take place in front of children

The boy is believed to have been killed less than 24 hours after being arrested for apostasy, which usually means abandoning one’s religion. But under ISIS’ strict interpretation of Islam, apostasy is used as a catch-all term for dozens of minor crimes - all of which are punishable by beheading.

Speaking to northern Syria’s ARA News, local activist Nasser Taljbini said: “The teenage boy, who faced charges of apostasy, was beheaded in front of a huge crowd in central Jarablus on Saturday.”

“Before carrying out the execution, a Sharia official read a statement issued by the ISIS Sharia Court, vowing everyone who misses prayers at the mosque to face a similar punishment,” he added.

The news comes as it emerged an all-female army made up of former ISIS sex slaves declared war on the savage terror group that once held them captive.

Having spent months and even years being tortured and abused by the jihadis, the mainly Yazidi woman are now fighting back against their oppressors

The majority of the women were captured back in July 2014 when ISIS stormed Mount Sinjar in Iraq, capturing thousands of Yazidi women and children as sex slaves and brutally butchering all of the men and boys.
