'Big reward' for info on Franziska Blöchliger murder

(Jenna Etheridge, News24)The parents of murdered 16-year-old Franziska Blöchliger have offered a "big reward" for information leading to the arrest of their daughter's killer.

Franziska's body was found in the Tokai forest in Cape Town on Monday. It's believed she was jogging through Tokai forest on Monday afternoon while on a family outing.

Her parents, Florian and Shireen Blöchliger, told EWN that they would offer a reward.

"We are offering a big reward for the arrest and conviction of the person who will find or hear anything that [can lead to the arrest of] that person that did that to our daughter."

Florian said the reward would be about R50 000.
He appealed to the community and South Africa to help them find the killer.

"Not only that we can put him in jail, but that he can't do it to somebody else, because if he's done something like that once, he will do it again... maybe he has done it already before." Florian is of Swedish descent and the family lives in Kalk Bay.

According to reports, Franziska was strangled and her body dumped in bushes.
