US Coast Guard rescues SA man, 3 Americans

The US Coast Guard says it has rescued three Americans and a South African after their catamaran began to sink north of the Dominican Republic.

Officials saidon Friday that the men were travelling from Puerto Rico to the Turks & Caicos Islands aboard a 14m catamaran. The Coast Guard said it hoisted the men into a helicopter and flew them to Puerto Rico.
