South China Sea disputes as viewed by Chinese

China is seen by some as a growing threat to peace and stability in the South China Sea. It has been accused of arm-twisting smaller countries over disputed maritime territory. At least that is the picture painted by many of the country's neighbours. But within China there is a very different perspective.
